Android 9 is coming to the Nokia 5.1 Plus before the end of 2018

HMD launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus as an international version of the Nokia X5, which complemented the success of the Nokia 6X, announced in May as its first smartphone with a bump screen.

The Finnish company now plans to launch the Android 9 Bay update for the Nokia 5.1 Plus phone before the end of the year, over the next two and a half months of 2018.

The company was supposed to launch the update over the past few days, but it appears an emergency has delayed it for some time. The head of products at HMD said the update was coming before the end of 2018.

HMD has launched the Android 9 Bay update for the Nokia 7 Plus phone, and now we are sure that the update is also coming to the Nokia 5.1 Plus phone.

Features of the Nokia Do Not Disturb feature include the Dashboard, Adaptive Battery, Navigation, and Adaptive Brightness.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus phone will continue to receive the major software update from the Android system for two years, and the 3-year security patches, according to HMD.
