In the past months, Samsung used to launch the monthly security patch for its medium and low-spec phones and then launched it for the leading phones. However, the situation in August and September 2018 was different, and it seems that it will continue to do so in October. The time was faster in its launch compared to the last two months.
After announcing the content of the security patch for October 2018 and what it will bring to its phones, Samsung has launched its Galaxy Note9, starting from the US, and has launched its launch of AT & T subscribers.
Samsung has made it clear that the security patch for October 2018 includes fixing dozens of holes found in the Android system, as well as correcting the gaps found in the company's software.
The security patch for the month fixes critical gaps in the Android operating system, along with dozens of high and medium vulnerabilities. It also fixes 11 loopholes found in Samsung software.

The new update can be manually downloaded by opening the settings and clicking on the "Software update" option and clicking "Download updates manually".
